Zurich, 30 August 2017. According to the Michael Page Swiss Job Index, the number of jobs advertised throughout Switzerland, between July and August 2017, increased by +2.3% across Switzerland. This is one of the highest growth rates for this period since the Index began in 2012 and compares with the average of +0.06% (July-August). The German-speaking region accounted for 9 out of 10 advertised jobs and grew by +3.1% compared with the Swiss Romande which declined by -2.1%. Year-to-date (January – August 2017) growth in advertised jobs was 10.9%.

Demand for logistics, financial services and IT was especially strong.
