About our client:
Our client is an International Bank operating out of Zürich but maintaining a strong international presence. Due to high market demand, our client is looking for a Junior Controller.
Description:
- Assist with coordinating the company financial planning and budget management functions.
- Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget.
- Assist with overseeing daily operations of the finance department.
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Assist with directing financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Candidate profile:
- Higher Education in finance or accounting with the knowledge in budgeting and cost control principles.
- Good language skills in English and German (French is an asset) in speaking with professional written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
