About our client:
Our client is a large international company with HQ's in the US. With 3 offices here in Switzerland they are employing just over 300 people locally. Due to recent growth and expansion, our client is looking to hire a Financial Analyst.
Description:
- Business unit month-end process including profitability, cost centre reviews, full reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and month-end reporting submissions to corporate finance.
- Responsibility for the preparation and ongoing development of the month-end reporting package for review.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and planning process including the development of robust forecast and budget models.
- Responsibility for review and maintenance of strict internal controls within the finance department.
- Critical review of all departmental expenditure to identify where cost efficiencies can be achieved and assisting cost centre managers where necessary.
- Responsibility for managing and reporting on all capital expenditure incurred by the company. This includes managing capital budgets.
- Production of ad hoc reports as required.
- Other ongoing finance projects across different functions.
Candidate profile:
- Successfully finished university degree
- Additional professional qualification
- Several years of solid experience in a multinational environment
- Highly proficient in MS Office & ERP Systems
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
- Any other language is an asset
- Team player, goal orientated, accurate with ability to multitask
